What other countries could possibly have spawned the deliciously melancholic likes of ABBA and "Wallander" (specifically the BBC version starring Kenneth Branagh... a master-class in TV detective drama). Blank Verse - or Kalle Fagerberg to his friends - is another reason to adore the land of cuckoo clocks. The six tracks here are swirling slabs of electronic noise moving like glaciers across a frozen landscape with occasional scary, submerged vocals that hint at terrifying agendas.
